@Emma- Boston

Somehow, Helen knew that Emma was going to answer the door. She usually would have to get herself in and nudge the tall blonde woman to get things going. But then, Emma was blushing and she wasn’t expecting that they were going to share the same bed…. even though they were dating. Already? She raised her eyebrows and gave Emma a warm smile. “Better pour a glass of cold water on that woman,” She joked. “I’ll see you downstairs okay? Tell her to hurry up.”

Helen turned around and disappeared. The smile remained on her face though. It felt good to be home and honestly, she was excited to have Emma around. It was because she’d never seen Holly like this before and she assumed that Emma was the culprit, but still… she was looking forward to getting to know her more.

Emma’s cheeks were warm. She had no way of telling if Helen was judging her or not, but she hoped not. She loved Holly, and if things went well then eventually that would be kind of a given, but….at the moment, she just didn’t want it to look like she was a user or something. “I will,” she agreed, then blushed again. “I mean, I won’t pour water on her but I’ll tell her to, um, to hurry up.”

When Helen left, Emma quietly closed the door again and sat on the bed next to Holly. She took a moment just to look at her before she brushed some hair out of her face, smiling gently. “Holly. Holly, sweetheart, wake up. Dinner’s ready.”

“No…” Holly murmured, pulling the blanket over her head. She considered herself a very reasonable person, but not when it comes to sleeping. It had been an issue but she managed not to yell at Emma, even though she usually would when someone tries to wake her up.

Of course, Emma had to laugh at her girlfriend’s stubbornness. She wasn’t going to give up easily though.

“Holly… come on,” The redhead leaned down, nudging the blonde softly.

One of the best things about Emma was that she wasn’t bossy. She wouldn’t get mad and she would actually find this trait quite adorable. She just sorta knew how to work with Holly regarding this matter. And not long ago, she found out something that was rather effective.

Emma nuzzled Holly’s neck and started planting soft kisses under her jaw, knowing that there was one spot that would wake the woman up.

Holly opened her eyes slowly, smiling. She wrapped her arms around Emma, squeezing her. “Okay, okay… I’m up.” She whispered.

Everything else went smoothly. It didn’t take long for the both of them to dress up for dinner.

There was Rita, Helen and Harriet, waiting in the dining room. Emma was nervous, but Holly was there to hold her and. And she did. “Don’t worry, they’re nice people.” She grinned, reassuringly.
